Seamless Gutters

Seamless Gutter Installation in CT & RI

Gutters are the least glamorous part of your house and one of the most consequential. When they fail, water goes down the fascia, behind the siding, and into the foundation.

Why Seamless

Fewer Joints, Fewer Leaks

Sectional gutters from a home center are joined every ten feet, and every joint is a future leak.

Seamless gutters are formed from a continuous coil at your house and cut to the exact length of the run, so the only joints are at corners and downspouts. Fewer seams means fewer leaks, less sag over time, and a cleaner line along the roof edge.

What We Install

  • 5-inch and 6-inch K-style aluminum. Five handles most homes; six moves considerably more water and suits large roof areas or steep pitches.
  • Downspouts sized for the load. Undersized or badly placed downspouts are why gutters overflow even when clean.
  • Hidden hangers, screwed into the fascia at proper spacing — no spikes.
  • Proper pitch. Enough fall to drain fully, not so much that it's visible from the street.
  • Extensions and drainage that move water away from the foundation.
  • Color-matched to trim, roof, or siding.

Other Services

Roofing rarely travels alone. If more than one thing needs doing, ask us to price them together — shared setup and disposal brings the cost down.

Gutter Guards

Worth It Under Trees

If you have oaks, maples, or pines over the house, guards are worth serious consideration.

They keep leaves, needles, and shingle granules out of the trough so water can actually move. Guards reduce cleaning dramatically. They don't eliminate it entirely, and anyone telling you they do is overselling.

For homes with heavy pine needle load in particular, the guard type matters a lot — we'll match the product to the trees you actually have.

Gutters and Roofing Together

Most of our gutter work happens alongside a roof replacement, and there's a good reason. Drip edge, fascia condition, and gutter placement all have to work together.

Installing new gutters on rotted fascia, or hanging them without proper drip edge, guarantees a callback. If your roof is being replaced, that's the right moment to address the gutters.

Christopher Home Improvement did a wonderful job on my roof and gutters. No more rain overflowing down the house. These guys were great — very fast and professional, with no mess left behind. The new roof looks great! They did my mother's house as well. She told me not to go with anyone else, and she was right.

Raul and his team have gone above and beyond my expectations, even replacing my gutters along with my roof. I'm impressed with the professionalism and hard work by all the crew. They arrived on time and cleaned up like they weren't even there.

New home that ended up having a series of leaks and gutter issues over winter. The Christopher Home Improvement team gave us an outstanding quote that included a full roof replacement and gutter installation.

Questions

Common Questions

How long does a gutter installation take?

Most homes are done in a day.

Do I need 5-inch or 6-inch gutters?

It depends on roof area and pitch. If your current gutters overflow in heavy rain even when clean, that's a sizing problem and 6-inch is likely the answer.

Do gutter guards really work?

Good ones substantially reduce clogging and cleaning frequency. None are truly maintenance-free. We recommend based on the trees around your house.

What about ice dams?

Gutters don't cause ice dams — inadequate attic ventilation and insulation do. Guards and heat cable reduce the damage, but if you're getting ice dams every winter, the real fix is in the attic.

Will you replace rotted fascia?

Yes. Fascia damage is common where old gutters have been leaking. We show you what we find and quote it before proceeding.
